Please note: the NSB Foundation has changed its funding policy.

Following an in-depth study of other philanthropic models around the country, the NSB Foundation has decided to initiate a multi-year, single issue funding focus in an effort to create more positive long-term results. The NSB Foundation Board has chosen to initially focus on the complex social problem of childhood hunger and food insecurity. The Foundation will partner with The Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, who will in turn, collaborate with qualified organizations in Chittenden County and Central Vermont. Click here for additional information.

Beginning in the fall of 2006, the NSB Foundation will commit substantially all of its annual funding to projects seeking to achieve sustainable solutions to childhood hunger and food insecurity. The NSB Foundation is not able to consider any other requests for funding at this time.

Separate from the NSB Foundation, Northfield Savings Bank will continue donating approximately $150,000 per year to fund a variety of Vermont non-profit organizations. Click here for guidelines and application procedures.
